I am directed by the Controller to inform you that a letter dated 5th April 1921 has been received from the Representative of the German Clearing Office, stating that the Managers of the Canton Branch of the firm of Carl Boediker, Hamburg, have applied to the Custodian of Enemy Property in Hong Kong for the delivery of the business books, codes and documents relating to the liquidation of the firm, and asking that the wishes of the firm of Carl Boediker, Hamburg, may be granted.

The Controller will be glad if the necessary action

may be taken in the matter.
